Shop on the Pond

Rested on Saturday after late night Friday duty good response for  Comedy Club @The Atrium , forgot to take pictures to  show all others who say where and not must room in the area next time will see !!!
   Sunday  decided to go for Bike ride to keep knee joints moving  went on cycle path and bridleway then Busway to Shop on the Pond  gift shop and plants with the Pond behind . A place to see a pond with the ducks enjoying a place in peace .

Quiet Weekend

Saturday resting  bit of layin decided to have day in nothing planned when out to back garden as neighbour wanted to see about his fence which is broken plus he got leaking shed roof only could see from me garden turned out had broken gutter . Cut down overhanging branch`s near fence as caused lots of moss on his roof , must see groundsman about tree`s near pruning leaves are all gone brown on chestnut tree`s got the disease .
 Sunday done some triming of scrubs around front of Bungalow  then watch F1 on  telly

Well its second week in September and its another bright day the sky is blue and clear . Saturday is rest day getting used to new hours body clock is getting better but think miday snooze does one good . Sunday is big photo shoot early start be in Cambridge by 8-45am ready for Chariots of Fire Race should be good turn out this year .

Waterbeach had good report in Cambridge News
Hopefully the report in the paper links all together in the community around the villages in the Fen Edge patch sure more events are to come . There are so many local groups in the villages doing lots of good work for there community and is not seen, without there support in the Fen Edge area it would not be such a friendly community .

 The weather could have been better but keeped dry could done with few more people coming to see the unveiling onthe green . Sure the ones who came will let others know good to see groups were getting the map out and working out were to go plur going around the village find the places .

Paralympic Flame came to Ely

Ely did it`s self proud as the Paralympic Flame came and the threat of storm clouds did not stop the crowds coming out . There was a very sharp down pour of rain before most of people came but held off untill the flame was ready to leave Jubilee Gardens . The Flotilla of Ely boat owners was good to see linking the town together such a good day for all .
