The Pond!!!

2 weeks ago the pond had been booked to have the old plant growth removed out of the water but the team of groundsman went bit too far. Check out what the have done! Now all the shrubs have been cut back which in my opinion has destoyed the purpose of the pond as is nature pond and should have some ground cover around the edges to protect the wildlife in and around the pond. Am told the shurubs and ground cover will grow back for next year !! Watch this space any comments!!

First visit to Wicken Fen this winter,only had short time there as back to work went in shop and to the cafe for quick bite plus coffee.
